Imperfect Samples: If you want raw and organic this is on that extreme end of the spectrum. I don't think I've ever actually used it on a final mix. Don't get me wrong it seems like a high quality instrument but I every time I try it I end up using something else in 2 minutes. They sound good but for the life of me they sound terrible when I put them in a song and inserts don't help. Not my bag.ĨDio: Their pianos just don't sit well in any mix for me. Maybe I haven't spent enough time with this one.
All the presets are over exaggerated and it's hard to find a comfortable medium between "OMG it's so bright" and "it's muddy as heck." It does sound great but I usually end up going to something else more organic. Galaxy D: My one gripe with Galaxy is how overly produced and processed it can sound. Can be a little tricky to get the sound right at first. Very subtle and deep sound but mixes well without much argument. Seems to work better when you want a more intimate sound or have a slower song going. It is organic enough to sound like a real Piano but is just processed enough to sound produced without too much struggle.Įmotional Piano: This is another favorite. Piano in Blue: This is the one I find myself going to the most.
My main genre is modern singer songwriter pop/rock stuff. I wish there was a way for a taser to reach through the internet, and zap anyone who types the word "search" in the first few responses to the op's question. When I'm searching it's the first time I've sought the information, and I don't give a crap if the search police is annoyed that the topic has been beat to death. Even if the search police is addressing the OP, those of us who are actually searching have to wade through their bucket of piss to find the information we are after. It is equally aggravating to be searching for something, and the first thing you see is that you need to use the search function. GOD will not allow any exchanging of ideas on any internet forum, ever, for any reason, because it is vile and wicked.I do a lot of searches on a lot of forums, and the search police are usually the first responders. God vehemently forbids any discussing, talking, thinking about, or fantasizing about any topic, subject, thought, or word, that has EVER, been discussed by ANYONE else. They deserve to be STONED to DEATH for not using the search function. GOD's First Commandment: If someone on an internet forum asks a question that has EVER been asked before and discussed, this makes GOD angry.
